THE MOROCCAN EXPERIENCE

Traditional Moroccan Facials in Duluth, MN

The Moroccan Experience

Our owner traveled to Morocco three times to experience traditional facials firsthand and source the exact ingredients behind them. She has now brought two of those rituals home to Duluth.

Our signature ingredients come straight from Morocco: rhassoul clay from the Atlas Mountains, rose water from the Valley of Roses, and pure argan oil and blue nila from the Sahara region. We buy them directly through a Moroccan women’s cooperative that we personally visited that supports divorced and widowed women, so every facial supports them too.

What's Included in Every Moroccan Facial

No acids. No peels. Most clients describe it as cool, soothing and deeply relaxing.

The Room

The experience starts before your facial does.

Your treatment room is set with a Moroccan-made waterfall and the warm glow of a handcrafted copper Moroccan lamp. The sound of running water and soft amber light set the tone the moment you lie down.

Each facial has its own signature scent. Argan Serenity is wrapped in orange blossom, the scent Moroccan families use to welcome guests into their homes. Sahara Nila Radiance is scented with rose from Morocco’s Valley of Roses.

When you’re done, you’ll sip Moroccan tea poured from a handmade, hand-painted tea set designed specifically for our clinic.

Our Moroccan Facials

ARGAN SERENITY

50 MIN | $175

The Moroccan facial that started it all, recreated from a traditional facial in Morocco. Pure argan oil takes center stage: argan cleanse, a traditional orange blossom ghassoul wash, argan facial massage and an argan finish. Your skin is gently polished with almond and Manuka honey, then treated to a rhassoul clay mask with green tea, honey and Moroccan rose water. Includes an arm and hand massage and warm orange blossom towels.

Best for: Dry, dehydrated or tight skin that needs deep nourishment and a soft, radiant finish.
Contains: Nuts (almond), honey and argan.
Pregnancy: Pregnancy safe.

SAHARA NILA RADIANCE

50 MIN | $175

Inspired by a centuries-old beauty ritual of the Sahara, this facial features blue nila, the indigo powder Moroccan women have used for generations for brighter, more even-looking skin. Pure argan oil cleanse, a traditional rose ghassoul wash, warm steam, an oat and Manuka honey polish, and a striking blue mask of honey and pure Moroccan nila. Includes an arm and hand massage and warm rose towels. Our signature Moroccan experience.

Best for: Dull or uneven-looking skin that wants a brighter, more luminous glow.
Contains: Dairy, honey, oats and argan.
Pregnancy: Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Try Argan Serenity instead.

PRICKLY PEAR FINISH

ADD-ON | $15

Finish either facial with cold-pressed prickly pear seed oil, Morocco’s rarest face oil. It takes nearly a ton of cactus fruit to make a single liter. Pressed into the skin as the final step for an extra dewy glow. Pregnancy safe.

The Ingredients

RHASSOUL CLAY (GHASSOUL)

Mined in Morocco’s Atlas Mountains, the only commercial source of this clay in the world. Its name comes from the Arabic word for “to wash.” Rich in minerals like magnesium and silica, it lifts away oil and impurities without stripping the skin. We buy it in raw rock form and grind it in-house.

ARGAN OIL

Pressed from the kernels of Morocco’s argan tree. Rich in vitamin E and fatty acids, it nourishes and softens skin. We use it to cleanse, massage and finish.

MOROCCAN ROSE WATER

Distilled from Damask roses hand-picked at dawn in Kelaat M’Gouna, Morocco’s Valley of Roses. Gentle, calming and hydrating for nearly every skin type.

ORANGE BLOSSOM WATER

In Moroccan homes, guests are welcomed with a sprinkle of orange blossom water as a sign of warmth and respect. It’s the signature scent of Argan Serenity.

BLUE NILA

A fine indigo powder from the Sahara region of southern Morocco, used in traditional hammam beauty rituals for generations. Moroccan women use it for brighter, more even-looking skin. It’s what gives Sahara Nila Radiance its striking blue mask.
